A GOOD FRIDAY! Ladies, were you in the house for this year's dose of Beres? He was at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden in fine form, thrilling the ladies and raising the notch on how a man should caress his woman musically. The sold out venue, filled with mostly women, came alive when the humble Mr. Hammond dressed in white, took the stage after his three backup singers and Ginger had done their share to warn up the sold-out venue.
As usual, Beres' voice was in fine style. His voice was caressing and the ladies in the house were pleased to hear him touch many of his favorite songs.
Beres was backed by a string orchestra. It was a good idea but at times, there was a disconnect between the string section and the rest of the band.
Overall the show was excellent. It is hard to find a Beres show that is not satisfying.
